IPPFA Administrative Assistant
Lori Grundy
Lori Grundy has known several dimensions of police service:
first as a wife and then the widow of Ken Grundy, a Lieutenant for
the Northlake Police Department.
In addition, Lori worked as a police dispatcher for the Forest Park
Police Department and a Community Service Officer for the Addison
Police Department.
In 1989, Lori was elected to the Northlake Police Pension Fund as
an annuitant of that fund. She was re-elected to her fourth term
in April 1997.
Lori's first contact with the IPPFA happened when she attended
the Annual Training Conference in Decatur (1989). Her quest for
additional pension fund information led to attending seminars and
eventually a part-time office job with IPPFA in 1990: Lori is now
the Administrative Assistant for the IPPFA.
