Douglas Vroman

Douglas Vroman Douglas Vroman has served with the Rock Island Fire Department since 1980, currently as Chief. Doug has been active as an officer of his local union, has been a trustee on the Rock Island Firefighters Pension Fund since 1993, and has served as Board Secretary since 1997. Long an advocate of pension trustee education, Doug was elected to the IPPFA Board of Directors in 2001.

Doug has three adult sons, and in his spare time is an adventurer who enjoys backpacking, mountaineering, rock climbing, and spelunking.
