Dan Hopkins

Dan started work for the O’Fallon Police department in 1984. He then went to the St Clair County Sheriff’s Police Department in 1986 as a patrol officer. In 1987 he started work as a police officer in Collinsville, IL and was elected to the pension board in 1988. He retired from Collinsville Police Department in 2006. Dan then continued on the pension board as the retired officer for the Collinsville Police Pension Fund. He has been the pension board president since 1998.

ABOUT IPPFA
The IPPFA was founded in 1985 as a not-for-profit organization whose mandate was to educate public pension fund trustees. In 2009 the IPPFA became the primary education provider for public pension fund trustees in the state of Illinois. Our members manage over eighteen billion dollars in pension assets.
