Dan Ryan
Daniel W. Ryan is a project coordinator for the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association (IPPFA). He is a former municipal treasurer and a retired Taft-Hartley health and pension plan administrator. Dan is an instructor in the criminal justice program at Lewis University and a trustee of the Skokie Police Pension Fund. His book, Retirement Income for Illinois Fire and Police: Pensions, Social Security and Deferred Compensation addresses the specific benefits for Illinois’ public safety professionals as well as issues facing public pension plans.

ABOUT IPPFA

The IPPFA was founded in 1985 as a not-for-profit organization whose mandate was to educate public pension fund trustees. In 2009 the IPPFA became the primary education provider for public pension fund trustees in the state of Illinois. Our members manage over eighteen billion dollars in pension assets.
